All children, regardless of race, creed, gender, or national origin are welcome to attend Child of God Preschool.
In order for a child to be eligible to attend Child of God Preschool, they must be at least three years old, and be completely toilet trained. (pull-ups or diapers are not allowed at preschool) Your child should be able to take care of their needs independently while using the bathroom.
The following items are required in order to enroll your child:
Submission of the 2024-2025 Child of God Registration Form with the registration fee and supply fee. (non-refundable)
Part of our registration process is a tour of our facility and a review of our policies with the director. Please schedule a tour by emailing nhiggins@firstchurchnewark.org.
Completed ODJFS Child Enrollment and Health Information form submitted prior to your child’s first day of preschool.
Completed ODJFS Child Medical Statement form signed and dated by a physician or certified nurse practitioner. This form must be submitted within 30 days of your child's first day of preschool, or your child will not be allowed to attend further. This medical form must be updated annually.
There will be additional forms to be completed and submitted on your child’s first day of preschool.

PLEASE NOTE that enrollment may occur throughout the year as spaces become available. There is not just a single enrollment period. Additional copies of all necessary forms are available at the preschool.
